Duration of Project: Sept 22 - Nov 2

Project Summary: To design a wind turbine blade that contributes to a sustainable future to accomplish Sweden’s goal of net greenhouse gas emissions to 0%.

Main Objectives:

Problem Statement: Design a wind turbine blade that contributes to green technology by greatly considering it mechanical properties and performance. The design is to be used to create multiple units for a wind farm. They must be able to efficiently generate large amounts of power to multiple cities

Constraints:

Functions: Wind harnessed to generate electrical energy must be sustainable, efficient, clean, and safe throughout its entire process, starting from harvesting materials needed to manufacture it all the way to disposing it once it has reach the end of its lifespan.

Outcome: Overall the project was a success resulting in a 3D modeled wind turbine blade that has all justifiable features entirely dedicated to Sweden’s intended use and goals.

Skills Learned

Team’s Work and Personal Contributions

As a part of the team, my members and I either all did our individual assigned tasks, then compared, and gave each other feedback or each did parts of a whole in order to complete group tasks.

An objective tree made to outline key aspects of the design.
